Day of the dragon!

What a lovely day ...... the sun is shining .... the sky is blue & barely a cloud to spoil the view!

The warmth has brought out the butterflies ...... there were several fluttering around the Buddleia ...... went out to see which one would pose for me & spotted two dragonflies basking on the washing line!

As I tried to get a photo of them they flew up ..... then settled again ...... up & settled ..... they repeated this several times .... I was considering pegging them on the line to keep them still!

Finally this one stayed long enough for me to get this photo .... hope you like it :-)

Blip & run today ..... we have got to brave the supermarket .... will catch up with you all tomorrow :-)
