Why Is Jim Here?

Organising books is an ongoing task, and every so often I move books from one shelf to another. Perhaps to another room.

The Jim Clark book is among a group of Arts and Crafts Architecture Books because there is no room on the Motorsport shelf just below.

I am busy cataloguing all of our books and checking values. Some values are quite eye watering. I doubt this will ever apply to eBooks.

However, some comics, penny dreadful and paperbacks can also be quite valuable.

The catalogue will also allow me to reorder the books by subject as well as size. Now I just have to figure out a method for identifying the shelves.

Surprisingly I have even come across multiple copies of the same book!

This year has eliminated my visits to the many bookshops of St Andrews and cut down the number of books piled on chairs.

I might even get around to selling some. Perhaps I should start on an internet bookshop.
