It is hard to stay positive - #3 daughter isn’t wanting to see us, even outside, because she feels she or the children will be likely to get Covid now Sunderland where she works near, in on the “at watch” list, and she’s worried for us. #2 can’t see us because James has another week of isolation. And unlike Wales and Scotland, in England groups of 6, by law from Monday the most that can meet in or out, INCLUDES children.

Sleeping badly doesn’t help - though I did drop off at 2.30 am assisted by Melvyn and guests discussing protons. But I was awake for the day at 6.45. Once the foot is weigh bearing I’ll can get out for walks which should help not only with sleeping, but will lift the spirits.
