Friday

Ann met Jo for a walk in Bidford this morning whilst I stayed home and did some jobs.  After lunch we went into Stratford to look at a possible new car.  The car is a hybrid.  I would have gone full electric but I don't believe the infrastructure is in place yet, no doubt delayed implementation due to coronavirus. Maybe the next car in three or four years time?

We felt the nose-to-tail traffic wasn't suitable for a test drive so we've postponed that until Sunday.

From the car showroom we walked down Henley Street to Nero for an alfresco coffee.

At the end of Henley Street are two telephone boxes, used mainly by foreign tourists as photo props.  Today I noticed one of them has been taken over by the MAD Museum (Mechanical Art & Design) which is based at the other end of the street.  The entire box has been taken over by an eclectic collection of moving objects.  Fascinating to watch.
