Quarter to blip o’clock

And I hadn’t taken a photo yet!! Oh no!!!! Managed to get this random photo outside which has little relevance to my day but will evoke fond memories of this warm home, peaceful land and joyful company. Today we went to Cecílio and Ermelinda’s home for a humungous meal. It’s amazing how much can be communicated beyond words - most of the conversation was in Portuguese (a beautiful language to listen to, and very helpfully translated by Paul) - but so much can be told about someone from their smile, their interest, their body language and observation of the people in their company.
Went for a swim in the sea, skimming rocks, now just about to have tea including some of Mike’s freshly baked sourdough bread...I do not have one single regret about coming here, even if it does mean a 2 week quarantine on return! A label on a bottle of wine called this place “Terra Lenta”...”Slow Land”...slowing down is a wonderful thing, especially when it allows you to appreciate all this gifts of the present, mainly the people we get to share it with.
