Up and Down

The theme for MonoMonday is Up and Down. These are the stairs in our house. I don't know how many times a day I go up and down them - quite a few times!   Thanks to suejay50 for hosting MM.
I went for a short walk today and could definitely smell smoke and feel it in my breathing. It must be getting more and more unbearable in the western US states. I really hope conditions down south change soon. The destruction and number of deaths and people missing are horrific. 
Extras:
I had a brief glimpse of the sun on my walk. The smoke is definitely affecting the colour in the sky.
