Ewden Valley Reservoirs

I walked the footpaths around the reservoirs with my sister today - it was stunning and a first for me, even though they are barely 20 mins from home.  Sometimes we don’t explore what’s on our own doorstep.  It was so beautiful that it even got my sister asking whether I thought houses might be a bit cheaper around there than they  are in the Peak District.  I guess it all depends - there are some very expensive looking properties up there on the hillside. 

I’m struggling to stay awake now, though I’ve come to the conclusion that the time I go to sleep bares little relationship to the time I wake up  ... and for good measure I seem to have acquitted a sharp twinge in my back.  I wonder where that came from!
