50 Shades of Grey

I stopped off at the Heather Farm Wetlands on the way home from some shopping for refreshment and a walk.  Given the dry weather in the south of the UK this year, "wetlands" is a bit of a misnomer; most of the ponds and streams across the site had dried up.

I still recall its first year of opening in the winter of 2016, on the site of an old mushroom farm.  That year had been very wet, and the dirt paths were a sea of mud.  Today the 3km or so of circular paths are properly laid with beaten earth/gravel for access to all, and will probably stay relatively dry in wet weather.

A farm shop at the edge of the site had a pen of young pigs, and one had a spotty hide, which I felt was just the job for today's Abstract Challenge set by Ingeborg.
