Walking on Water

After breakfast we timed it for low tide and walked down the steps between the cliffs into the little cove at the bottom of the cliffs and went in search of the ‘Water Eyes’. There were lots of rock pools and we were able to walk around the base of the cliffs onto Olhos D’Agua beach which as you can see, wasn’t very busy.

We found the ‘eyes’ which you have to be careful not to stand on as basically they’re a concealed hole where the spring is bubbling and your foot can go down! We also did a bit more beach-combing and enjoyed walking on the wet sand.

After lunch it was another afternoon at the pool, followed by drinks on the terrace, and after dinner we had a stroll back down into the village.
