15th Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 15th Wedding Anniversary and we woke up to another stormy day with thunder and lightening, so we didn’t expect to be doing very much. However, there was a break in the weather so we decided to walk into the village but the rain quickly came, so we had to find shelter. Luckily it passed quite soon and the rest of the day was warm and sunny, although very windy!

We walked along the beach and did a bit of beach-combing, and found a couple of heart shaped pebbles and some sea glass, even Alan enjoyed it!

We went back to the hotel for lunch and found that a bottle of Cava and a card had been delivered to our room by the hotel staff, which was a lovely gesture. The afternoon was spent at the pool, and then we went and sat on our terrace to have a drink and listen to some music before getting ready for dinner.

Mum had given us some money to buy a bottle of champagne so we had a bottle of Laurent Perrier with dinner.

I wanted a nice anniversary photo of us both but in this time of Covid I didn’t want to ask anyone to use my camera to take one of us, and I don’t have the tripod here, so the good old selfie stick came in handy. The quality isn’t as good as the camera, but it marks the moment and we love the photo.
