Autumn Warmth

Although the temperatures have been cooler these last few days, the sun is shining and it's pleasant to be outside. Some of the summer wild flowers in the meadow are dying back now, bringing a nice contrast of old and new against the cooler season plants beginning to come on now.

I still like the dried flowers with their fine hairy parts and rich browns and oranges. A few spots of more intense purple and yellow combat the predominance of neutrals in the image.
