Snuffed Out

Walking back, the sun dropped behind the clouds, slowly enveloping the last of the light, throwing a magenta cast over the trees and water.

I found it quite difficult to arrive at a white balance that I felt comfortable with. There seemed to be too much green in the trees and water and the sky overly purple, each requiring their own adjustment. Increasing the land exposure without affecting the dark sky was also tricky.

Earlier I found some nice light on the lilies (extra).
