Oh what a perfect day.

Just when we thought the weather couldn’t get better. It did.

We have spent the day down on Perranuthnoe beach.
Just sat there happily in the sunshine.
Oh how I wished I had brought a bathing costume. The sea was perfect. However just made do with a few paddles, and watched everyone else enjoying the water.
Swimming, belly boarding, paddle boarding, surfing, and kayaking.

Lunch was a couple of sandwiches bought from The Cabin. They were doing a roaring trade. All very well organised.

Although there were quite a lot of people on the beach it certainly wasn’t crowded, and everyone well spaced out.

I think our highlight was watching this little boy playing all day long. Crawling everywhere, and splashing in the little pools the sea had left behind. He wash absolutely loving it.
Brought back memories of when our two were little, and crawling about on this same beach all those years ago.
We used to go down in the morning, and then grandma and grandad would come down later with a picnic lunch.
Happy Days, but today has also been a happy one, and one we certainly didn’t expect.
We have been so lucky.
