Urban interlude

I haven’t stood here and looked at Manchester Central Library, one of my favourite buildings in the city centre, since March.

The last day of astronomical summer. A cloudless blue sky. All looks well on the surface. Except it isn’t, And we are moving into a difficult 6 months.

We were the only customers at the hairdressers. They are normally closed on Mondays but have opened for shielders. It all felt very safe. Visors, masks, sanitisers.

Extra - clear blue sky. Palm tree. “Minaret”. It has to be Manchester.
