Nice Yarn

How did it get to be the end of September? We would normally be getting ready for our ushering gig at the Monterey Jazz Festival. I can’t imagine ever being in crowds like that again.

And here is my knitted sock, inching along. It does look more like a sock now, after I finally deciphered the instructions for making the heel. Words are tricky things, and I interpret things very literally. Sometimes you just have to keep going even if it doesnt make any sense. That is not a life lesson, just a comment on knitting. I’m very pleased to have gotten this far, even though it has a lumpy unpleasant hand-crafted look. I can only assume Sock #2 will look a little better.
