Multi tasking

Another night of waking up at 2 or 3 but this time I got up and did not some prep for today, getting sidetracked on the way to Scotlandspeople.  Today was pretty much about chairing the Board meeting, well 4 meetings.  The actual process of chairing is complicated but it seemed to go well.  Laptop for Teams, i-Pad for the papers, phone for the 'backroom boys', paper based crib notes and notepad, for notes.

After, spoke to J who hasn't decided whether or not they are coming home next month, decided that the new 'restrictions' wouldn't really affect me (there are benefits to living alone with family and friends at a distance and I'm old enough to remember the original 10 o'clock closing), wrote a guide to Zoom for the Choir, sorted the tv licence for the Manor, oh had tea, watched first a random farming programme (overlooking the PM and the FM) and then David Nicholls killing me softly with the 2nd part of 7.39, though of course the ending was totally different to the one I suffered.  How did he know? Glad I didn't catch it first time round in 2014. Too raw.

It's going to be a hard 6 months.
