Hey Jude ..*

thank you for my cuddle this morning.

A very quiet night for a household with a tiny baby, Grace, having had a phone call from the midwife, was told to rest this morning so it was Granny’s turn to have baby Jude all to herself. Lovely.
About an hour later the midwife arrived and wanted to give her a check over so of course that woke her up and broke the spell but it did give me chance to take a close up of her with Boppa showing off all that hair. It is actually over her collar at the back!
Eda was out with Daddy bouncing, climbing and swinging from monkey ropes at the ‘gym’ as you do.

We left about midday so that Eda and Jude’s other Granny could visit this afternoon and maintain the rule of 6. The family will have the next two days to themselves before the weekend visitors of family and friends, again in ones and twos, will come to meet Jude.

The less said about this afternoon the better, suffice to say it has taken us 8 hours to get home. Two hours were spent in a gridlock on a service area just off the M5. Not an experience I want to repeat in a hurry.

We got to Sheffield as it got dark and came on to rain. The same place we ran into rain when we returned last month. A bit dispiriting but never mind we have some precious moments and photographs from the last few days to keep us happy.

*It had to be said - once!
