Spider of the Evening

This is Julia Child, a robust yellow rose that sometimes turns whitish with weird pink spots. I have no idea. I spent way too long trying to get this spider to look sharper than it was. Is it Lumix or me that can't keep things in focus lately.

Did a lot of yardwork today. Surprised myself with how much energy I had. A little piano playing, a little happy hour, a nice dinner, and poof, it's dark: the day is done.
