Morning Prayers

Dear God. You knew this morning I intended to pedal for exercise, get a bit a workout, you know I need it. I didn't even bring my camera with me, I'm so easily tempted, but you knew I had my smartphone in my pocket and then you gave me so many pretty things to notice, like the wee bird on the spillway by city hall. I should have figured out what you had in mind when this was the first thing I saw when I climbed on CC my rolling tri-pod. For penance I'll do some digging and weeding out front once I've had a cuppa. Thanks for such a beautiful start to the day .... Amen
