Sunny Stromness (Day 1968)

I spent the morning in Stromness, re-sealing a shower tray then stripping down and servicing a boiler.
As I was packing up to leave, another regular customer pounced on me and asked me to sort his slow filling toilet cistern.
Another late lunch, then a trip to the wilds of Birsay to sort out a leaking loo I was called out to late last night. I knew I needed to change the fill valve, but ended up re-fitting the cistern. It looked like the previous installer had been blind and working in the dark.
