Icky But Pretty

Seems to have been a day for insec small wildlife shots n the garden.  It wasn't until I'd offloaded this one that I saw the fascinating intricate markings on its back.

(Hmm, apparently it's a... <drum roll>... Garden Spider.)

Extras include various spider-lunch options.  With the Speckled Wood butterfly where, again, I'd not spotted the other critter socially distancing in the background until seeing it on the big screen.
