In the Hospital Again

I was fine all day yesterday. Until it was time for me to drive to Sahuarita to pick up my groceries. It was around 6:15 when a horrible stabbing pain struck my abdomen. After a bout of vomiting and increasing pain, I thought it wise to call for an ambulance.

Sparing you the rest of the details, bottom line is that I have an obstructed colon. Again. This happened sometime in 2019 when mom was still here.

This is a portrait of Erika, a tech who has been among the several very kind people taking care of me. I don’t think I will be here very long. The good news is that surgery to remove the blockage has been ruled out, unless there’s a drastic turn for the worse.

It’s always something.
