Seen, and shot, on a trip to Larch Cottage at Melkinthorpe with Clicky and Jerra for the inevitable "Brew" and a look around.
I did a check and discovered:- 
"Grow hardy Nerine bowdenii in a sunny border or tender forms in a conservatory or greenhouse."
I have seen them, in the past, up in Carlisle, just down the hill from us and today, in "Melki".  They're not an arm and a leg and Alice liked them.
