Venus passes in front of Regulus

A planned encounter which I chanced to see. Venus looked very bright this morning against a clear sky, and I went out to have a look and grab today’s Blipfoto.

I was able to confirm the encounter when I looked at the Star Walk 2 app on my iPad Pro.

I was mildly amused to note that I also caught the red light of the Boxster’s alarm system. An unplanned event.

I have shown the third "Forest Tapestry" chair featuring the Fox.

Today is the calm before the rain storm which will last over the weekend.

Probably not wise to sew  grass seed, until that has passed.
