Capital adventures

It's that time again.

I think I had a better might. I woke briefly and then it was 8.13.

Swim. It wasn't busy in the slow lane, but the fast lane - poor lifeguard had a problem keeping the 2 very fast swimmers right on the lane etiquette in this time of Covid. They've reduced the max number to 18, though the max I've ever seen is 11..

Home to sign a will (not mine), do the laundry, make the Christmas cake and pudding and venison casserole (with the leftover stout, as usual), and chilli con carne. It turned into a lovely afternoon, sunny and almost warm.

I've certainly been less indolent than yesterday, more productive. And I've discovered things in the spare freezer I'd forgotten I'd cooked!
