A bucket of Apples

Our Golden Russet has excelled this year. We have been eating windfalls up to press but decided to pick some off the tree. 13lb in this bucket and at least twice as many left on the tree and we have eated lots of windfalls. They are delicious sweet and crisp.

What a difference in the weather today sunny nearly all day with just one small shower at lunchtime.

I had a laugh today although i shouldn't laugh. My next door neighbours are less than tidy and the skip is back on the drive that he puts all his work rubbish in. Anyway his van is usually backed up at the back of his wifes and when they go out together he pulls out his van then she pulls out her car and he shoots back up the drive with the van today he miscalculated and backed straight into the skip. Dented the back doors. I suppose it made it eorse that we had just come home and were outside. Devine retrebution I call it. I had to go in cos i was laughing.

Well another weekend gone. Soon be Christmas yes it'll be here before you can blink. Happy week ahead
