Lake Lure Holiday ....

... Day 3.

Despite sleeping in a little bit we still did a lot today.  We started by going to Rutherfordton to check out the Purple Martin Greenway Trail.  We hadn't been to this trail before so we were curious as to how it would be.  It was a nice walking trail but we didn't see hardly any wildlife.  Unless you count the two legged human wildlife couple relieving themselves behind a building!  YUCK!

From the greenway trail we went to Walmart to pick up a few things ... including some pizza for supper!  From Walmart we drove back towards Lake Lure stopping at another walking trail that we hadn't been to before.  This trail was more in the woods than the greenway ... it was very peaceful.  But still not much wildlife!

We returned to our condo before going down to the lake with Rocky Squirrel because we haven't seen a single squirrel today!  We have big plans for tomorrow that will hopefully change that!  Stay tuned ...

I was out on the deck when this beautiful Tufted Titmouse stopped by for some of the peanuts we put on the railing!
