Day trip to Dundee

We booked a couple of weeks ago to go to the Mary Quant Exhibition at the V and A in Dundee.  It was brilliant!  Great story, laid out in video, pictures and outfits.  What a time to be a teenager in Chelsea after the staid outfits here was the mini skirts, fun outfits like nothing before!  Her shop Bazaar was mobbed !  I loved everything about this exhibition.

After that we went on the big wheel positioned in Slessor Gardens with an alternative view of the area.  Fabulous.

Lunch was in Birchwood - a good hearty bowl of sweet potato and coconut soup with big slice of bread.  

Home around 4 - a good day out.
