First walk!

Up at 6.30 to let a certain someone into the garden, made chicken mayo filling for Miss PHL’s lunch, played with the puppy and finally got breakfast around 8.30.

Out for my walk and went up the railway path towards Penicuik and I do mean up - there is a slight gradient for the first couple of miles which was as far as I went before I turned back. Home in an hour and had a lovely hot bath to soothe away the aches and pains.

We introduced Phin to the Motorhome and he sniffed a lot but seemed happy enough. Think we’re going to take it up to Blairgowrie on Friday afternoon to meet our son’s dog Henry so we’ll see how he gets on.

After Miss PHL got back around 4 we took Phin out for his first walk round the block. He was quite well behaved but held on till we got home before emptying his bladder in the garden. He met 2 neighbours and one of the neighbours dogs - Cally who is a 4 year old cockapoo. She’s so sweet but was a bit nervous round the boisterous puppy.

Slowed cooked ribs and baked potato for dinner - very tasty. About to settle down for GBBO - don’t rate our chances as he’s being a wee monkey tonight.
