Derelict Nursery

This is the former High Trees Day Nursery - established in 1963 and now closed. I don’t know when it closed - but it looks as though it has been a while!

Thought it would make a suitably sad subject for this weeks Derelict Sunday challenge - hosted by Marlieske  

Feeling quite low today - not achieved much, apart from a long walk and a bit of moving stuff about tidying in the garage. Our granddaughter’s school has been partly closed due to a positive COVID test - year 3/4 have been sent home as well as the kitchen staff. Fortunately she is in year 2 so is not having to isolate - yet, but the worry is there that we may have been in contact with it yesterday. The thought of more lockdown restrictions is also quite depressing.

Also added an extra of the beck - flowing well over the weir after all the rain. The water has really churned up the mud.
