Here's to the Next 400!

We spent a lovely day in Walla Walla, starting with a fabulous breakfast at the apply named Bacon and Eggs restaurant. Truly one of the best breakfasts I've had in recent memory. The hash browns were unparalleled - so perfectly browned on the bottom that they were crispy as potato chips. And the bacon....wow!

We did some touring around after that, and found a fascinating National Park Service historical site called The Whitman Mission. A tragic place on so many levels, and full of ghosts and memories. It might be easier to read about here if you're interested.

We've wanted to visit a winery called L'Ecole No. 41 for quite a while now. They make some terrific wine. So we made a reservation for noon for the two of us and had a terrific and very safe tasting experience. We walked way with a case of various wines...so we'll have lovely memories when we sip these wines over the winter! Their building is an old school house, beautifully restored, yet retaining so many of the original features of the building. I had visions of those tiny little girl's toilets in the rest room...but it had been updated :-)

Today's blip is during our tasting - the light was beautiful in the big old school room....cheers to you all dear blip mates! My experience on Blip has been nothing but fabulous!
