Loch Drunkie

A beautiful day. We headed out to Aberfoyle for coffee and then we drove over the Duke's Pass to the start of the 7 mile Three Lochs Forest Drive .... magnificent Trossachs scenery viewed from the comfort of the car. The Drive is one way so no chances of meeting another motorist on a sharp bend. A very popular area for cyclists and walkers.

Plenty of places to park the car and with much tramping over copious mossy mounds we eventually got down to the shores of Loch Drunkie. The best views were always obscured by trees .... need to go back on a clear day when the leaves are gone in the hope of getting a clearer view.
