Happy Birthday Malachi

Today we had a little shopping trip to Morrison's for a couple of things to take over to Jeri's as we were having a little family tea party for Mal's ninth birthday. It's actually next Tuesday but today is more convenient with work, school etc.

Brian bought a couple of bottles of his favourite cheapo Morrison's cherryade. Two big bottles for 90p and none of that budget is wasted on the packaging. One of the bottles brushed against the protective screen and that caused it to explode, gushing cherryade all over the conveyor belt! It brought everything to a halt and caused chaos! We were glad to get out and go home! They were still cleaning up when we left. There were some items of our shopping that they did not scan, but some they scanned twice - they came out on top slightly!

Jeri made a fantastic cake for Mal - it's a Capt. America one with a Thor's hammer on top and as ever it is delicious! You can see it better in the Extra. We gave him a proper junior football and some goalie gloves with the Rotherham Utd logo on. Theo and Mal support them as their Dad takes them to watch regularly.
