Berry has been very good today; we had our buyer's surveyor here for hours and she kept a weather eye out for any misdemeanors!

I've been editing our bookshelves. I'm trying to decide on the basis of what I need rather than what sentimentality dictates so some old friends that I've not opened for years are having to go to new homes. I hope someone strokes their spines like I have.

The antique furniture has been organised to go to the auctioneers. The furniture going to LD and D is sorted. LH's mum's house sale has struck a problem (the post hasn't worked and vital documentation is AWOL) but I'm sure we'll get there in the end!
