Bradley

Back in August I blipped about the native tree (oak or beech) that the Community Council is planning to plant to celebrate the centenary of some of Scotland's first council houses. The plans are moving on. There's been a successful funding application for the tree itself and for an interpretation board which will be installed nearby to give a bit of information. A local printing firm is going to design and print a leaflet to expand on the information which will be on the board.

This afternoon I had a socially distanced meeting with Bradley from Art is an Option which will design, make and install the interpretation board. I think we're pretty well set to go. It's going to be tree planting season soon and it would be great if this could all be accomplished in 2020, 100 years after the first of the local Homes for Heroes was occupied.

Thanks Bradley for being a good sport and agreeing to be blipped. And for all the creative help of course.
