Wide Wednesday nature's colours

We got our day out! We went to Muncaster Castle
It was sunny, no wind and quite warm. A beautiful drive up the coast with stunning views across to the hills and over towards the blue sea.

Not all of the trees had their Autumn colours but there were.some stunning red Acer's. 
We strolled through the woods and then along the terrace . There were a few people strolling about all looking as relaxed as we felt but generally it was quiet. 

We sat outside the cafe and had coffee and cake and then meandered back round the castle, ( more great views) , passed Tom Fools tree  ( the one who gives us the term Tom foolery see extras) and by the 'Sky Hunters' bird display . The viewing area for those with dogs was not in the best position as it was looking in to the sun and it was some distance away so hard to see the birds ( kites? Eagles? ..not sure as they were brown blobs in the distance) but we were happy to stroll on.
