Battersea Park: Heron & Gull

Even less eager to join the fray in large
Extras:
Heron staring
Dog vs. swans: (1/2: offensive) & (2/2: defensive)
Swan sipping with ripply reflections

I met a friend in Battersea Park for an early afternoon stroll around the lake. We saw shovelers, mandarin ducks, and great crested grebes, but I hardly took any photographs (distracted by dodging Coblivious others?) until we stopped at a peaceful corner where this heron was perching. A person then arrived with bread, and the coots, gulls, and swans rushed in, providing plenty of energetic photo opportunities.

Others here (or right from Autumn heron)
