Early Radar Tower

We were on our way to Kent - which is where we now are - and diverted to Coalhouse Fort to see the 'sights'. The fort was not impressive but the surrounding mud flatland with this intriguing early Radar Tower more than made up for it. I'll add a photo of the information board as it's fascinating history. It is in a bit of a state though so no chance of poking into it! Also an extra of the land close by where I was fixated on the shape of the clouds reflecting the shadow of the water.

Now somewhere near the Isle of Sheppey which we will explore tomorrow.

Good news that eldest grandchild passed her driving test today; it will save my daughter a few 'taxi' journeys.
