Doing a Runner

There were various sizable offcuts from the carpeting of the hall, stairs & landing.  Keen not to waste any of this eye-wateringly* expensive stuff we arranged to have the bigger parts edge-bound as runners / rugs / mats.

That was some time ago.  They arrived today.

OK, in relative terms it wasn't that expensive - there were some really eye-watering options - it's just that we have 3 acres of floor...
