A Saturday walk around Chacefield Wood, near Denny.

It was dry but overcast. The sun tried to make an appearance throughout my walk and occasionally managed to do so.

While I was out enjoying the autumn countryside, my TV back home was busy recording two football matches - both local derbies - and the rest of the day was plonked in front of the telly watching these. usually just for about 20 minutes at a time as I kept finding other bits and pieces to do. It was a lazy, relaxing day.

In other news, it was the first league game of the season for Falkirk and they recorded a 3-1 win away to Montrose. It was the first time they had won their opening league game since 2007. Here's hoping it's the first of many.
