Mono Monday - Reflections

With the trees filled with autumn colour it was hard to find a theme appropriate shot, but at NT Newark Park they're hosting an art exhibition and this vase stood in front of the mirrored arch more usually commandeered by the local peacocks. Very nice in shades of blue and turquoise it nonetheless worked well enough for me in shades of grey.

The 6km ramble through fields and woodland paths was most enjoyable in the low Sun, and even though there seemed no lack of people willing to walk the wrong way around the one way path network with no clear idea of social distancing we were fine - a loud throaty cough often beings them back on message...

A bit blue this morning though, as I heard first thing that a druid friend had passed into mystery after a blessedly short illness. Steve Thomason was a fine folk singer and song writer and leaves a decent self memorial on Soundcloud. I'll miss his gentle and dry humour, and his clarity of discussion on all things bardic.
