Another fine weed crop.

This area, now my "nearly raised" beds, used to be a wide border.  There are still the odd examples/proofs cropping up; like a small clump of these Lilies. The odd Oenathera (NO! I do NOT mean "botheration" I mean Oenathera - evening primrose) and this clump of Japanese Anemones.  There was an old dear, back home, almost obliterated ours; Mam had a clump in the front garden some pink, some white.  the old lass would come over and sit on the wall "to catch up on the crack". Mam hadn't the heart to tell her the "weeds" which she pulled up every visit were anemones; they DO take a massive attempt to actually get rid.  They seem a bit "Twitch-like" in that if a root is long enough to have two ends it'll grow.
