Foggy day on the Malverns

Saturday
Peter and Judy called in briefly this morning after breakfast, to say goodbye before they headed home. The rest of the morning we stayed in, before going out for lunch in the cafe at the local garden centre. In the afternoon, Roger, Laura and I went for a walk on the Malverns, thinking that at least on the hills it shouldn't be too muddy underfoot. Unfortunately it was really foggy up on the hills, so there certainly weren't any views to be enjoyed, but at least we got some exercise and blew the cobwebs away! After some tea and cake, the three of us headed up north to spend a couple of days with Roger's sister Janet and his parents, who both live in Appleton Cheshire. When we got up there, we picked up some Chinese take-away, then called in to see his parents briefly before going to his sister's where we were sleeping.
