Shadows for Flower Friday

The lighting in the new house creates some lovely effects at times.  I spotted the shadows created by my vase of flowers yesterday and they were still there today!  Amazing!

Continuing my attempts at becoming a Domestic Goddess,  today I have made mincemeat for my planned Christmas Mince pies.  It smells good even though I only added Brandy instead of Brandy and Drambuie.  The hairdresser was here at the time and she has ordered a job for her next visit.  She also suggested that I might like to do Xmas puddings and has said she would be willing to help me dispose of one of them!  That might be my next DG task...

Out for a meal this evening to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary...
