An after bath shower

It has been pouring with rain today.  I was at F's this morning watching the sparrows bathing in the dog bowl that is the bird bath in his garden.  So many of them were having bathing in there that most of the water splashed out of the bowl.

I think that these sparrows were feeling optimistic by hoping that they'd dry out on a day like this!  It's not a good photo I'm afraid, it was taken through the window.
