It was supposed to be our club's monthly climbing meetup in the Peak but I cancelled it. After all the rain yesterday and through the night I didn't think the rock would've dried, and I didn't want to drive for over an hour to find out. There were only two of us interested anyway :-( so we agreed not to go, but actually I think we might have missed a good day, the last for over a week if you believe the forecast.

So I went food shopping, had lunch and then walked locally, noticing that the housing development had come on a lot, and also that there'd been changes for the better to a farm halfway round my route.
