If you can't beat them...

Cyclamen

As near as I am able to establish this is a Cyclamen persicum hybrid.  The shape and structure of Cyclamen flowers always fascinates me.  The way the flowers curve back and the bright colours catch my eye.  These were growing on the kitchen window ledge when earlier in the day I was consider what to blip.   I thought "well if nothing else takes my fancy I will blip those"    You have guessed nothing else caught my eye.

Native to the Eastern Mediterranean the flower in spring and "back end"  (autumn and in this case up to Christmas).  I can't imagine why anyone would consider eating them but there is a warning, they cause severe discomfort if eaten.
