Outside

The second day of my escape. 

It started sunny and beautiful, so by 09:30 I was heading to Burghead for a proper beach walk. The beach heading west from there is 7 miles long. Most parts of it are very quiet. Perfect!

I had no plan to walk the full distance, and going halfway along and back was just right - a bit over 2 hours. 95% of the time the only sound was the waves, and because there was almost no wind, they were tiny little waves.

It was a very good way of clearing my head of all the noise which it has been subjected to recently. 

Between that, lunch and a modest shopping expedition (a few essentials like socks and underwear), suddenly the daylight hours were disappearing fast.
