It's a Beautiful Life

Elementary...

A busy couple of days...I didn't manage a blip yesterday. Too busy trying out a new pattern for babies' bibs with some fabulous new fabric. I love matching the colours and patterns to see what combination works best. The time passed so quickly! Then in the evening, Hubby and I took a cultural jaunt out to the theatre with some friends. We had a mutual friend who was appearing as Patience in the Gilbert and Sullivan musical of the same name. I confess to having been a little unsure of what to expect, but although it was an amateur performance it was brilliant and we had a great time!

Another busy day today, off to church and then to friends for lunch. I managed a quick blip of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's memorial statue featuring Sherlock Holmes, arguably his most well known creation, en route. His memorial stands in Picardy Place, Edinburgh, near Number 11, the house where he was born. There is a pub across the road named after him too!

Check out Edisteve's photo of the same statue from last August.
