ICM at the Manor
It's been a long day at Waddesdon Manor and mostly quite busy. There are plenty of Hallowe'en related activities going on so many families there to take part. This then gives rise to many who like to tag on a visit to see inside the House - at the moment it's not necessary to book that and there's no extra charge. So lots of time talking to visitors and explaining a few details. The time passed quickly.
The House closes this Sunday and won't open again until next March - probably. We'll have to see how the virus situation develops. The grounds are now being decorated with lights for the festive season and will open up mid November (check website if you're local and interested - it will be worth seeing). There is also a Christmas Fair which will add to the attraction.
The blip is of the Morning Room - an extension to the original building which wasn't deemed big enough!!
